I'm super excited to share this DIY Wine Bag with you today. This makes a great homemade hostess gift!
I just looked through the Restoration Hardware catalog, and I am absolutely smitten! I especially love these Luxe Faux Fur Wine Bags. They are a great way to wrap those bottles of wine you are bringing to the hosts or hostesses of all of your holiday parties. Here is a way to make these for less ... IKEA style. The bags at RH are $9 a piece. This tutorial will yield you 5-6 for $10 total. I'd say that's a bargain! I've also included some free printable tags for your hostess with the mostest or host with the most!
You can tie it with ribbon on this suede cord.

Fold fabric in half. Insert wine bottle. Pin fabric around wine bottle. Leaving a half inch seam on each side, cut fabric.
Sew fabric where the pins are.
Fold the top down about 1/2 inch and slip stitch.
Flip fabric right side out.
Give the faux fur a trim.
Print gift tags. Wrap ribbon or suede around fabric and tie on gift tags.
