DIY Brass Kitchen Hardware
I am loving the brass kitchen hardware trend. However, it can get expensive. Drawer pulls alone can cost you $28 - $50 a piece. These DIY kitchen hardware pieces will run you about $7 per 2 handles! Did I mention IKEA hacks are the best?
Stand up your hardware on a drop cloth with the hardware "legs" supporting the large barrel. Spray paint your hardware in a well-ventilated area. I don't suggest turning the brass hardware upside down to get the bottom side of the long barrel after you spray the top. I did that, and it messed up the already painted hardware. You won't see the missed areas of the barrel (if there are any) because they will face the cabinets. Allow to dry overnight. Attach your hardware to the cabinets.
Our real kitchen reveal is coming soon. Can't wait for you guys to check it out. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on brass kitchen hardware? So amazing or too trendy?
