Rainbow Smoothie Bowl
I get so bored with breakfast. The same old yogurt and fruit just doesn't cut it sometimes. This rainbow smoothie bowl is a good change up. And it's something fun to do with the kiddos. They will get a kick out of making the different colors and pouring them into grapefruit "bowls." Plus it's one of those healthy breakfast ideas. P.S. If you are looking for more healthy breakfast ideas, these Orange Yogurt Pancakes definitely fit the bill.
Smoothie bowls are so delicious, especially when you add some coconut flakes and chia seeds on top. Did I mention this makes them super healthy? Omega-3s ... get you some! I don't have it in the recipe, but if you so choose, you can blend in a little granola. This gives the smoothies some texture. I like that sorta thing, but some peeps don't, so I left it out.
You can get creative with the "colors" in the smoothie bowl. I used some basic fruits, but it would be fun to use interesting fruits like pomegranates or even mix in some veggies. Veggies would really up the "healthy game" in these lil devils. What other combos would you do?
