DIY Nursery Pillow + Cricut Explore One™ Giveaway
Yellow is THE color for summer. It is so bright and cheery. In the spirit of yellow, I decided to make a lil' yellow update to Flynn's nursery. This project will take you all of five minutes to make especially if you have a Cricut® machine. Speaking of Cricut®, keep reading to find out about a special giveaway!
Y'all know my love for my Cricut® Explore. Well Cricut® has come out with a machine called the Cricut Explore One™. It's for the crafter who just wants to make cuts and is looking for a lower price point for a cutting machine of their very own. Yay! Believe it or not Cricut® is giving away a Cricut Explore One™ along with some other really great prizes! Keep a readin to find out the deets! P.S. Use the text tool in Cricut® Design Space to create your name. I used the Cricut text. Resize the font to your liking. I sized the font to about 9 x 2 inches for a 12 x 16 inch pillow. Set your machine to iron on and click the cut button in Cricut® Design Space. Check the mirror option. Load your Brights Cricut® Vinyl Sampler Pack right side down onto your mat and into the machine. Click "cut" on your machine.
Peel back the top layer. Cut off the excess vinyl you don't need.
Center and iron on the name onto the pillow case. If you don't have a white pillow cover or pillow, follow the extra easy way I make a DIY pillow.
I love how it looks in the crib since Flynn has yet to sleep in there. Note: according to the Safe Sleep guidelines, it is not safe to have anything in the crib when putting your baby in there to sleep.
It also looks cute on the glider for when baby moves to the crib.
